Vem har makten i samhället? De som skapar pengarna.
Vem skapar pengarna? De som har makten.

Bernard Lietaer är en man som har lösningen på alla problem!
O.K även om det är en liten överdrift så är det en mycket mindre överdrift än man kan tro.

Han menar att vi som människor formas i hög utsträckning efter vilket valutasystem vi väljer.
Det är inte så att vi har den ordning vi har därför att människans natur är att tänka kortsiktigt och själviskt.
Istället är det grunden för hela spelet, hur pengar skapas och ges ut, som stimulerar till ett sådant beteende!

Vår tid kännetecknas av en uppgivenhet och brist på framtidstro, det verkar inte gå att göra något åt utvecklingen. Vi har inte längre råd med en anständig samhällsservice för sjuka och gamla sägs det samtidigt som de som har i överflöd dränks i allt mer pengar. T.o.m klimatet ändras av människans beteende, men vi har inte råd att ta itu med det!!
Orsaken till detta menar Lietaer är det monetära systemet, vem som har rätten att ge ut pengar.

Att tänka utanför den monetära boxen är något som är mycket ovant och svårt för de flesta!
Vi är lurade att hålla på och trätas om höger eller vänster inom boxen för att inte se de verkliga förhållandena. Det har gått så långt att vi tror att livet i den här boxen är lika med Verkligheten som vi måste anpassa oss efter!

Jag vågar mej själv inte på att förklara detaljerna närmare(det finns tips i mina tidigare inlägg 1 - 2 - 3), men lösningen som en lång rad penningreformister pekar på är förbluffande enkel:

att inte privata banker utan staten ska ha rätten att skapa pengar.

Edward Hamlyn på monetaryreform.org:

"We human beings tend to feel more comfortable with complexity and if the truth is too stark and too simple we tend to shy away with all sorts of excuses. "Its too simplistic" is the cry that goes up. So be it. You will have to try to confront simplicity, however painful it may be. "

Just pie in the sky!
But if you have read this far and now have some measure of agreement with what is being said, you might possibly view the remedy with delight.

For the remedy is delightful, it solves everything, and is so obviously correct that you will have a terrible job believing that it needs doing.
I can hear you say "well that is surely the way it is already".
Anyway take a look at the cure and see if you can understand its tremendous importance.

Here it is.

Restore to our Government the sole right to create and issue new money into circulation.

That is all that has to be done and everything will change, but everything."

Man får höra nu att krisen i finansvärlden beror på ett missöde med vidlyftig utlåning till hus, men de som förstår hur systemet fungerar verkar sen länge ha insett att det inte skulle hålla i längden.

I boken Future of Money (2001) skrev Lietaer:

"Unless some precautions are taken soon, there is at least a 50-50 chance that the next five to ten years will see a global money meltdown, the only plausible way for a global depression."

Many who have understood the implications of monetary reform are afraid to
"rock the boat". They fear a backlash from the powerful people benefiting from the present system, and/or a collapse of the "economy".
They are right to be worried; many atrocities (illdåd) have been committed in the past to preserve those privileges. But fundamental reform is becoming desperately urgent. Society and the environment are both on the verge of collapse – and that should worry everyone! Increasingly, influential economists and campaigners are speaking out, and gaining respect for it. Increasingly, those at the top of the pile are realising how precarious and damaging is their position.
They too must be experiencing fear!
All the main political parties around the world, and the corporate media, are
now firmly in the pockets of the bankers and the multinationals that the banks
have created by their policies; their leaders are the dupes or paid servants of
them. Bribery and corruption are rife. (See the periodical Corporate Watch, or David Korten's book, When Corporations Rule the World.)
In the last few decades, many countries have suffered a near-collapse of their "economies": Mexico, Japan, the Asian "Tiger economies", Russia ... Now the USA is seriously threatened; this could well trigger the final collapse, worldwide!
When that final collapse does occur – if reform is not adopted in time to escape
or forestall it – we need to be ready with workable alternatives, to stop history
repeating itself.
